Scenarios for dryland development in West Pokot, Kenya

This joint Focali and Triple L report by Eric Röhss, Gert Nyberg and Per Knutsson, describes the process and results of a workshop arranged by the Triple-L research initiative, focusing on the development of future dryland scenarios in West Pokot County, Kenya.

The workshop brought together researchers, representatives of non-governmental (NGO) and intergovernmental organizations (IGO) as well as county officials, mainly based in either Kenya or Sweden.

The aim of the workshop was to discuss ongoing research taking place within the Triple-L research initiative, explore possible future scenarios for dryland development in West Pokot, and based on these scenarios identify future research and policy needs.
