Focus area:

My interests in terms of research tend to revolve around two main themes: bioenergy and international trade. My current research is focused on 1) tensions between national bioenergy policies and international bioenergy markets and 2) Inter-relationships between climate change adaptation and bioenergy trade.

Background:

MSc in Sociotechnical Systems Engineering from Uppsala University (2006). PhD in Forest Resource Management from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (2012). Research Fellow at SEI (2013-). Member of IEA Bioenergy Task 40 on Sustainable International Bioenergy Trade (2013- ). Member of Working Group 3 of the Swedish National Forest Programme, focused on “promotion of biobased products & energy, smart transports, a world-leading forest industry and increased export” (2015- )
