REDD+ on the ground

Focali researcher Eskil Mattsson co-edit new case book by CIFOR on how REDD+ work on the ground.

A new book released this week at the COP 20 in Lima gives insights and lessons from across the tropics of efforts to reduce carbon emissions in tropical forest countries (REDD+). “REDD+ on the Ground: A Case Book of Subnational Initiatives Across the Globe” published by the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR), gives results of five years of fieldwork in 23 project sites in six countries. The book generates lessons about how REDD+ could work at the ground. Focali researcher Eskil Mattsson co-edited the book and is a co-author of the executive summary.
